The Week of Amazing Giveaways!

WOW! Blogging three days in a row, that's pretty impressive for me if I do say so myself! ;) This will be a super short and sweet post because I know you won't want to stay long with all the awesomeness headed your way!

As teachers we already know this, but teachers seem to be some of the most giving people! The fabulous Lindsey over at Miss Johnston's Journey is celebrating her 2nd Bloggiversary!

Between amazing blog designs, digital clipart, and TpT products, this girl is ROCKING it! I have teamed up with Lindsey and over 50 other teachers to bring you a top-notch giveaway to celebrate her bloggiversary! We have over 50 products to give out, $125 worth in gift cards from all over, happy mail, and other freebies!

My part in the giveaway is a perfect Back to School goodie.

It is my Growing Bundle of Editable Morning Work Templates! When you win my product, you will win every update I make to the bundle! :) These are so helpful in the morning. I put those up and the kids never questioned what was expected in the morning. They are different patterns each day and include adorable clipart and font suggestions.

Help me congratulate Lindsey with an awesome accomplishment by checking out her blog and entering the giveaway--you won't want to miss this! :)

Day 2 of all things #KinderTribe: 'All About the Teacher' Linky

We are in Day 2 of this fabulous kickoff week for our Kinder Tribe blog! I hope you have all entered in the amazing giveaway! If you haven't...go NOW...I won't be offended. This giveaway is
AH-MAZING!

I absolutely love linky parties! You get to see so many amazing bloggers and their fabulous blogs. This linky involves a bunch of...you guessed it--Kindergarten teachers! Our unique tribe is one that helps us grow as teachers while continuing to stay connected, motivated, and inspired by each other. The stories and help we have received so far are simply amazing! There's just something to be said about a group that just understands each other. There are not many who understand the daily life of a kindergarten teacher. What a great blog idea! ;) !

Our link-up is all about 'Kindergarten Favorites'! This was seriously hard to do. I didn't have enough room in my boxes to list all my favorite things. I am that person that cannot choose which restaurant everyone should go to, but you better believe I have no problems choosing where you'll stand in the line on the way to specials if you can't handle yourself! ;)

I am slightly obsessed with my MacBook. I love my iPhone. I love sunglasses. HOW does a girl choose just ONE?! Don't even get me started on school supplies. I almost took a screenshot of the Target school supply ad and put it in the box, but since I had to choose just one...I chose Post-It Notes!

If you haven't linked up yet, make sure you head on over to the Kinder Tribe blog, grab the image, and link on up. What are some of your favorite things. Best of luck narrowing down the options! ;)

#KinderTribe Collaborative Blog Launch!

I'm so excited and we just can't hide it! Our Kinder Tribe collaborative blog launches today! Yep, that's right, TODAY! 15 fabulous kindergarten bloggers and I have teamed up to be the blogger voice for the Kinder Tribe! :) Run, don't walk and check it out NOW!  Really...run and check out all of the amazing giveaways! (I am super jealous!)

I cannot believe so many amazing authors, creators, and sellers donated so much awesome stuff--perfect for back to school time! Click the picture below to read all about the prizes.

We have a clipart bundle, resources from some pretty amazing TpT Teachebrities (Teacher Celebrities), a personalized PAL, a TpT gift certificate, and much, much more!

If you are a Kindergarten teacher and are curious about how to join in on all of our tribe fun, check us out on Facebook! We share advice, ask lots of questions, and laugh a lot! Our blog will consist of all different kinds of fun things. We will have open blog posts, Feature Fridays (featuring all the members of the Kinder Tribe), What Worked Well Wednesdays linky (WWWW), and lots of other fun ideas and pictures to feel uplifted and inspired!

Since we have 16 blog authors, we decided a fun Meet the Teachers section was necessary. Check out the tab on the blog to get to know each of the authors behind the Tribe.

If you're not on Facebook and want to be a part of all the Kinder Tribe fun, use the hashtag #KinderTribe to showcase all of the amazing things you are doing in your kindergarten classroom!

We are already so blessed with an amazing tribe and in such a short time, we have all felt inspired and supported in some way. We would love to hear your feedback on the blog.

What are some things you'd like to see featured on our blog?

One Lovely Blog Award

I am so incredibly flattered to be nominated by Molly with Miss K's Little Rays for the One Lovely Blog Award.

Much like Miss Molly, it hasn't been too long since I have really dug into this crazy-amazing teacher/blogger world. Like all of us, I was a really great blog-stalker, but never put much thought into doing it myself...ESPECIALLY as a first-year teacher last year! As you know if you have been reading my posts, I have moved from fifth to kindergarten (YAY!), so my summer has been spent getting my new room ready. I have been so focused on making it look picture perfect that my blog has been kind of on the back burner. It makes me sad because blogging is such a relief for me. When I blog, it makes me so happy to write and connect with so many amazing teachers. It is crazy that I have met and 'met' so many teachers from around the world! It has given me so much inspiration and motivation to be the best possible teacher I can be!

Before spreading some teacher lovin', here's a few random things about myself...

1 - I was born and raised in Indiana and still live in the same 'ol small town.

2 - I teach 4 minutes from my house, so my "country road into my small town" commute is amazing!

3 - I teach in the same school I attended K-5, so my classroom is across the hall from my kindergarten classroom! :)

4 - I still live at home with my amazing parents and brother since my house is so close to where I teach!

5 - I received my degree in Elementary Education with a minor in math from Indiana University.

6 - I have a really close family and I wouldn't change it for the world. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, brother, and parents always try to eat together every Sunday night. It is a hoot and a half listening to my loud, hilarious family!

7 - I am an extremely organized person. I physically cannot leave my classroom until it is orderly and ready for the next day. I will walk back in the room and move the stapler on my desk 1 mm just to make it look right.

8 - I feel like I am a very observant (see above haha) and perceptive person, which has proven to be very helpful in teaching! ;)

9 - I am extremely outgoing, witty, and I love to laugh and make others laugh. Buttttt......

10 - I hate public speaking. Give me 50 kids and I am allllll good. A handful of adults I do not know could make me want to crawl in a hole. #ComfortZone

Again, thank you SO MUCH, Molly, for nominating me for this amazing award! These connections we have made make such a difference!

I would like to nominate:

Stacey from Literacy for Big Kids -- As I was in upper elementary last year, this amazing teacher was one of my ultimate inspirations. I knew that I could always look at her posts on her blog and Instagram and instantly feel the inspiration I needed to feel when the days were roughhhh. There is no doubt in my mind that I still look at her posts and feel the passion she has for teaching--it pours out of her!!

Carolyn from A Primary Kind of Life -- I just started reading her blog and I feel her emotion as I am reading. I can relate changing grades and leaving my team and my people. They become more than just the people you work with. Feeling that emotion she felt and making that connection makes hers so lovely in my eyes!

Check out these lovely ladies above! :)
