Hey, y'all! My
name is Breanna and I am a 23-year-old second year, kindergarten teacher. I live in
Indiana with my wonderful parents and brother. I was raised in a close-knit,
small town farm community where the land is flat and everyone knows everyone.
I am blessed to be teaching in the same district where I grew up, went to school, and graduated.
I had a very
typical experience of why I wanted to
be a teacher. I had some of the most amazing elementary teachers, but when one
of the sweetest 1st grade teachers looped to be my 2nd
grade teacher, I knew I wanted to be a teacher just like her. She made such a
lasting and amazing impact not only in my life, but also in my decision to
become a teacher. I was so lucky to have the opportunity to work with
her again during my student teaching in 1st grade. I will always
have a very sweet spot in my heart for the primary grades and I am so happy to be teaching kindergarten. Their innocence, imagination, curiosity, and growth amaze me. There is absolutely nothing better than seeing their growth. I love my job and I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world.
For as long
as I can remember, I have always loved to teach and help others. I love
creating resources, classroom design and organization, and just about
everything teacher/school supply related.
A few of my favorite things:
